About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Used Car Sales Director to lead our sales team in the Eastern GTA Region. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, improving customer satisfaction, and developing a high-performing sales team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and Manage the Sales Team: Supervise, direct, and lead all aspects of the Dealership Sales Department to achieve sales targets and improve customer satisfaction.
  • Customer Satisfaction: Maintain a high customer satisfaction percentage rating at all times by ensuring that all customers receive exceptional service and support.
  • Desk Vehicle Sales: Desk vehicle sales deals to ensure that all sales are processed efficiently and effectively.
  • Collaboration with Service Manager: Work closely with the Service Manager to ensure quick preparation of new vehicles for delivery and to improve overall customer satisfaction.
  • Team Development: Conduct regular meetings with sales staff to plan, modify, and review all current issues and programs, and to promote ongoing training and development.
  • Industry Knowledge: Stay up-to-date on all manufacturer and financial institutions' current product, program, promotions, and ensure that all staff understand factory programs.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that all required provincial licensing and regulatory requirements are followed.

Requirements:

  • Leadership Skills: Strong leadership abilities, with a proven track record of driving sales growth and improving customer satisfaction.
  • Negotiation Skills: Effective negotiation skills, with the ability to make sound decisions and drive results.
  • Customer Service: A passion for customer service and a commitment to delivering exceptional service and support.
  • Positive Attitude: A positive can-do attitude, with a strong work ethic and a commitment to excellence.
  • Experience: Two (2) years of management experience in the automotive industry, with a strong background in sales and customer service.
  • Licenses: A valid Ontario Driver's License and a valid OMVIC License (preferred).
