About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Used Car Sales Director to lead our sales team in the Eastern GTA Region. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, improving customer satisfaction, and developing a high-performing sales team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and Manage Sales Team: Supervise, direct, and lead all aspects of the Dealership Sales Department, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction and sales performance.
  • Customer Satisfaction: Maintain a high customer satisfaction percentage rating at all times, ensuring that customers have a positive experience with our dealership.
  • Desk Vehicle Sales: Desk vehicle sales deals, ensuring that all sales are processed efficiently and effectively.
  • Collaboration with Service Manager: Work closely with the Service Manager to ensure quick preparation of new vehicles for delivery, ensuring a seamless customer experience.
  • Team Development: Conduct regular meetings with sales staff to plan, modify, and review all current issues and programs, ensuring that the team is aligned with company goals.
  • Industry Knowledge: Stay up-to-date on all manufacturer and financial institutions' current product, program, promotions, and ensure that all staff understand factory programs.
  • Training and Development: Promote ongoing training, including daily and weekly sales team meetings, to ensure that the team has the skills and knowledge needed to succeed.
  • Compliance: Ensure that all required provincial licensing and regulatory requirements are followed, maintaining a high level of compliance within the dealership.

Requirements:

  • Leadership Skills: Strong leadership abilities, with the ability to motivate and inspire a high-performing sales team.
  • Negotiation Skills: Effective negotiation skills, with the ability to make sound decisions and drive sales growth.
  • Customer Service: A passion for customer service, with a focus on delivering an exceptional customer experience.
  • Positive Attitude: A positive can-do attitude, with a willingness to adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Experience: Two (2) years of management experience, preferably in the automotive industry.
  • Licenses: A valid Ontario Driver's License and a valid OMVIC License (preferred).
