We are seeking a highly skilled Neonatal Specialist to join our team at The Hospital for Sick Children. As a Neonatal Specialist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and conducting medical research on human disorders, illnesses, and preventive or curative methods.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct medical research on human disorders, illnesses, and preventive or curative methods
- Prescribe medication and treatment
- Refer patients for surgery
- Treat diseases and physiological disorders
- Prepare research papers for publication and presentation
- Study the nature, cause, and development of diseases and the structural and functional changes caused by diseases
- Act as consultants to other physicians
- Order laboratory tests, X-rays, and other diagnostic procedures
Requirements:
- 5 years or more of experience in a related field
- Education: Degree in medicine, dentistry, veterinary medicine, or optometry
- Specialization in clinical medicine, particularly in neonatology and pediatrics
