About This Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Diagnostic Neurophysiology Specialist to join our team at Sinai Health. In this role, you will be responsible for performing a range of diagnostic tests, including electroencephalograms (EEGs) and electromyography (EMGs), to help diagnose and manage neurological disorders.

Job Description

The Diagnostic Neurophysiology Specialist will work closely with neurologists, technicians, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care for patients with neurological conditions. Key responsibilities include:

  • Performing EEGs and EMGs in an inpatient and outpatient setting, including adult and neonatal ICUs
  • Collaborating with the neurology team to develop effective treatment plans
  • Providing exceptional patient care and ensuring a positive experience for all patients
  • Maintaining equipment and ensuring that it is clean and in good working order
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Registration with the Canadian Association of Electroneurophysiology Technologists and/or the Canadian Board of Registration of EEG Technologists
  • SUCCESSFUL COMPLETION OF A DIPLOMA OF TECHNOLOGY IN ELECTROPHYSIOLOGY OR A TWO YEAR HOSPITAL-BASED TRAINING PROGRAM
  • CPR certification
