Job Title: Swim Team Leader

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Swim Team Leader to join our team at Goldfish Swim School - Ontario. As a Swim Team Leader, you will be responsible for supervising our team of swim instructors, ensuring the delivery of high-quality swimming lessons, and maintaining a safe and enjoyable environment for our students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of swim instructors to ensure the delivery of high-quality swimming lessons.
  • Enforce safety rules and regulations to prevent accidents and ensure the well-being of students and staff.
  • Evaluate student performance and provide feedback to instructors to ensure ongoing improvement.
  • Interact with parents and guardians to provide updates on student progress and address any concerns they may have.
  • Use problem-solving and creative thinking skills to identify and resolve challenges that students encounter in the pool.
  • Inspect pool areas before and after each class to ensure cleanliness and maintenance standards are met.
  • Report any accidents or incidents to management and complete required documentation and paperwork.
  • Supervise and perform light cleaning duties, such as tidying the pool area and removing trash.
  • Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.

Requirements:

  • Current Lifesaving Society - National Lifeguard Certification.
  • Aquatics Supervisor Trained - AST Certification.
  • Current Standard First Aid with CPR C and AED.
  • Previous experience delivering high-quality swimming lesson supervision is preferred.
