Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Swim Team Supervisor to join our team at Goldfish Swim School. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our swim programs and providing exceptional customer service to our members.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate swim instruction programs, ensuring compliance with Goldfish Swim School curriculum and safety protocols.
  • Enforce safety rules and regulations, making rescues and administering first aid when necessary.
  • Evaluate student performance and provide feedback to instructors to ensure ongoing improvement.
  • Interact with parents and guardians to discuss student progress and address any concerns.
  • Use problem-solving and creative thinking skills to identify and resolve challenges that students encounter.
  • Inspect pool areas before and after each class to ensure maintenance, cleanliness, and damage issues are addressed.
  • Maintain and ensure proper storage of all pool equipment and supplies.
  • Report accidents and incidents to management, completing required documentation and paperwork.
  • Supervise and perform light cleaning duties, including tidying pool areas and removing trash.
  • Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • Current Lifesaving Society - National Lifeguard Certification.
  • Aquatics Supervisor Trained - AST Certification.
  • Current Standard First Aid with CPR C and AED.
  • Previous experience delivering high-quality swimming lesson supervision preferred.
  • Ability to work a minimum of 3 shifts per week, with a minimum of 12 hours per week.
