We are currently seeking SKILLED, VIBRANT, AND INTERACTIVE TEAM LEADERS/DECK SUPERVISORS IN OAKVILLE, ON (No summer job applicants, please)

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee our staff who deliver swim instruction in accordance with the Goldfish Swim School curriculum while ensuring a fun atmosphere.
  • Implement safety protocols to avert accidents, and perform rescues and first aid as needed.
  • Assess students' progress to guarantee continuous improvement.
  • Engage with parents/guardians regarding the advancement of their children's swimming abilities, acting as a representative to ensure satisfaction.
  • Utilize problem-solving and creative thinking skills to address challenges faced by students.
  • Inspect pool facilities before and after each session for maintenance, cleanliness, or damage, and report any issues to management.
  • Ensure proper storage and maintenance of all pool equipment, including lane lines.
  • Document and report any accidents or incidents to management as required.
  • Oversee and conduct light cleaning tasks such as tidying the pool area and managing waste disposal.
  • Participate in training sessions as necessary.
Qualifications:
We require a commitment to work a minimum of three shifts per week, totaling at least 12 hours.

Education/Experience Requirements:
Current Lifesaving Society - National Lifeguard Certification
Aquatics Supervisor Trained - AST Certification
Current Standard First Aid with CPR C and AED
Prior experience in supervising high-quality swimming lessons is preferred.
