About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Control Systems Specialist to join our team at Régulvar. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our control installations and performing calibration and maintenance of detection and actuation devices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Test and verify the quality of controls installations.
  • Perform calibration and maintenance of detection and actuation devices.
  • Complete programming of digital control systems.
  • Perform system and equipment start-ups and complete related documentation.
  • Tune PID loop.
  • Make GUI modifications.
  • Troubleshoot equipment and determine corrective actions.
  • Install and terminate control devices, such as controllers, sensors, actuators, and relays.
  • Provide training to clients.
Requirements
  • College diploma in Instrumentation and automation, Electronics, or building mechanical systems or a university diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
  • Ability to perform physical job-related tasks.
  • Knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLCs).
  • Knowledge in general-purpose programming languages (BASIC, C++, GCL).
  • Valid driver's licence.
  • Access to a vehicle.
  • No criminal record.
  • Good sense of organization and planning.
  • Ability to work in teams.
  • Great sense of customer service.
  • Good communication skills, written and spoken.
  • Experience with Building Automation System.
