Commercial Lines Insurance Broker Job Description

At Drayden Insurance Ltd., we are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Lines Insurance Broker to join our team. As an Insurance Business Unit Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in growing our small business client base through exceptional customer service, account development, and new business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist clients with their daily insurance needs, providing expert advice and guidance.
  • Provide quotes and sell new policies to clients, ensuring they receive the best possible coverage.
  • Upsell products and services to new and existing clients, driving revenue growth.
  • Generate client referrals through community involvement and events, expanding our network.
  • Follow up on client accounts to resolve outstanding matters, ensuring seamless service.
  • Make timely renewal calls for existing client business, maintaining strong relationships.
  • Stay up-to-date on product knowledge and build relationships with insurance providers, ensuring we offer the best solutions.
  • Commit to self-development through internal training and industry education, staying ahead of the curve.
  • Extensive knowledge of insurance company products, programs, and payment plans, providing expert advice to clients.
  • Resolve client concerns, providing exceptional service and support.
  • Develop existing client accounts, driving revenue growth and customer satisfaction.
  • Meet sales and service goals, contributing to the success of our team.
Qualifications:
  • Ability to deliver an outstanding client experience, using expert knowledge and sales skills.
  • General Level 1 or 2 insurance license, ensuring compliance and expertise.
  • 2+ years of industry experience, with a strong understanding of insurance products and services.
  • Epic experience is considered an asset, but not required.
