Job Summary

New York University is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Program Coordinator to provide administrative support for its Global Programs and University Life organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing broad support to a team that ensures the effective delivery of a first-rate study abroad experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide general administrative support, including maintaining confidentiality, responding to internal and external requests, and managing office supplies inventory.
  • Assist with academic programs support, including setting up course folders, uploading course syllabuses, and arranging field trips.
  • Support student programming and events, including assisting with student arrival and departure, preparing weekly student communications, and participating in special projects.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g. Education, International Affairs) or equivalent.
  • Experience in the international education sector.
  • Strong organizational and administrative skills, with a proven ability to prioritize projects.
  • Excellent intercultural and interpersonal communications skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to learn and excel in a broad range of duties and responsibilities.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in an office administration role.
  • Ability to work in a highly collaborative team environment.
  • Proven writing and editing skills, including the ability to draft effective memos and letters.
  • Familiarity with technology and software products.
  • Proactive with exceptional problem-solving skills.
