Lethbridge School Division is a dynamic and innovative educational institution seeking a skilled Speech Language Pathologist to fill a part-time position. This opportunity offers a chance to work with a dedicated team, contributing to the success of students from Early Education to grade 12.

The ideal candidate will possess strong assessment and problem-solving skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to establish rapport with students, families, staff, and community partners. Experience working in an educational setting is preferred.

In this role, you will be responsible for delivering a continuum of support within the division's Response to Instruction and Intervention framework (RTI2). This includes providing universal strategies to support all students in inclusive classrooms, facilitating the development of age-appropriate skills through play, and administering standardized assessments.

You will also have the opportunity to participate as a member of the Learning Team to develop, facilitate, and monitor student program plans and successful transitions. Additionally, you will provide recommendations for universal, targeted, and specialized services based on data gathered and collaborate with other therapists/specialists to support student development.

Key Responsibilities:

Required Qualifications:

  • Degree in a recognized program in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Registration with Alberta College of Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologists (ACSLPA)
  • Eligibility for certification with Speech-Language & Audiology Canada (SAC)
  • Experience working in an educational setting is preferred
