Restaurant Assistant Manager Job Description

Kwality Sweets & Restaurant is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant Assistant Manager to join our team. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing daily restaurant operations, ensuring exceptional customer service, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate and improve daily restaurant operations to ensure efficiency and productivity.
  • Monitor and manage staff performance, providing coaching and feedback to ensure high-quality service.
  • Supervise and train staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to provide excellent customer service.
  • Balance cash and complete balance sheets, cash reports, and related forms to ensure accurate financial management.
  • Conduct performance reviews to assess staff performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Organize and maintain inventory to ensure efficient stock management.
  • Ensure health and safety regulations are followed to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies to ensure the best possible prices.
  • Participate in marketing plans and implementation to drive sales growth.
  • Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily operations to ensure the restaurant runs smoothly and efficiently.
Requirements:
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a restaurant management role.
  • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Basic security clearance.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask.
  • Reliability and dependability.
