Restaurant Manager Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant Manager to join our team at Brar Sweets & Restaurant. As a Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our food and beverage offerings meet the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leadership and Management: Supervise a team of 5-10 staff members, providing guidance and support to ensure that they are meeting their job responsibilities and providing excellent customer service.
  • Operational Management: Develop and implement operational procedures to ensure that the restaurant is running efficiently and effectively, including managing inventory, controlling costs, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety.
  • Customer Service: Ensure that customers receive exceptional service, responding to their needs and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Marketing and Sales: Participate in marketing plans and implementation, including developing and executing sales strategies to increase revenue and customer loyalty.
  • Financial Management: Manage the restaurant's finances, including balancing cash and completing balance sheets, cash reports, and related forms.
Requirements:
  • Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a restaurant management role.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced environment, physically demanding, and requires attention to detail.
