Job Overview



The Sales and Account Management Professional will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth for RJR Innovations by establishing strong relationships with existing clients and identifying new business opportunities. This individual will be responsible for creating and executing sales plans to meet or exceed quarterly targets, while also ensuring excellent customer satisfaction.



Key Responsibilities:


  • Create and implement sales strategies to analyze customer spend patterns and forecast revenue growth.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with senior leaders and executives at assigned accounts to increase license revenue and expand the network of contacts.
  • Understand current business problems and develop knowledge of how RJR solutions positively impact client businesses to ensure customers have a good understanding of RJR's value proposition.
  • Generate new license revenue within assigned accounts by providing exceptional customer service and maintaining a deep understanding of customer needs.
  • Occasional out-of-town travel may be required, with or without notice.
  • Adjust sales presentations by studying customers' historical sales or needs to effectively communicate RJR's solutions.
  • Focus sales efforts on existing and potential customers through market research and analysis.
  • Submit orders by referencing price lists and product literature, ensuring timely and accurate fulfillment.
  • Maintain management informed through regular activity and results reports, including daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly territory analyses.
  • Produce and submit written proposals and quotations in pursuit of business opportunities, using established rates and pricing parameters.
  • Monitor competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, delivery schedules, and marketing techniques.
  • Recommend changes in products, services, and policy based on evaluation of results and competitive developments.
  • Resolve customer complaints by investigating problems, developing solutions, preparing reports, and making recommendations to management.
  • Provide product knowledge and selling skills training to customers, contractors, and trade factors through sales promotion and educational meetings.
  • Maintain accurate records of area and customer sales history.
  • Ensure a comprehensive understanding of all company products and services available to customers.


Requirements:


  • Frequent bilingualism in French and English is required.
  • A diploma or certificate in post-secondary education or equivalent experience is necessary.
  • Able to adapt communication style to suit situations and parties involved.
  • Mature approach focused on high-value areas and clients that yield the greatest return for RJR and deliver the greatest value for the client.
  • Works independently and is highly self-motivated, with mental agility to handle multiple tasks and large accounts.
  • Strong analytical, financial, conceptual, and strategic thinking skills are essential.
  • Bias for action, eliminating obstacles to secure orders while understanding client drivers and politics.
  • Able to articulate, understand, and deliver strategic product messages effectively.
  • Leverages internal processes, understanding their challenges and limitations.
  • Comprehensive understanding of the client's decision-making process and Procurement process.
  • Ability to report reliable data by auditing data flow, developing checkpoints, and controlling credibility of company data.
  • Create and maintain daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual sales reports.
  • Issues periodic statistical reports of a general and/or specialized nature.
  • Demonstrate ability to properly forecast to achieve corporate financial goals aligned with corporate objectives.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills, enabling building positive relationships and working with all levels of staff and clientele.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong professional image.


Estimated Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per year

This salary estimate is based on industry standards for similar positions in the region and may vary depending on individual qualifications and experience.
