Expert Scheduling Manager for Large-Scale Projects

We are seeking an experienced Expert Scheduling Manager to join our team at Alstom, a global leader in the transportation industry. As part of our On-Corridor Works project, you will play a key role in transforming the collective mobility of the Greater Toronto and Hamilton areas (GTHA).
Job DescriptionThe successful candidate will contribute to the scheduling teams, providing and liaising with the Finance team for internal and external reporting. Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and maintaining project schedules using best practices such as Primavera P6 and MS-Project software
- Managing planning deliverables and facilitating stakeholder synchronization
- Reporting schedule progress to various stakeholders, including customers and corporate teams
The Expert Scheduling Manager will be responsible for:
- Defining and maintaining the Project Time Management Plan based on inputs from all stakeholders
- Animating and coordinating the project scheduling community
- Building the project schedule based on internal standards, contractual targets, and data provided by stakeholders
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- 7-10 years of experience as a PrPM / SSM / Project Development Planning Manager / Reporting Manager
- Project management and industrial background
- Experience in complex projects (Design-build) and working with resource load schedules, Schedule of Values (SOV), Earned Value Management (EVM)
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Advanced MS Office proficiency, particularly MS-Excel
- Primavera P6 and MS-Project software skills
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, resilience, and team working spirit
We offer a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience, plus comprehensive benefits and opportunities for professional growth.
