Job Title: Count Team PT AJX-PCK

At Great Canadian Gaming Corporation, we are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented individual to join our Count Team as a part-time Count Attendant at our Pickering Casino Resort and Casino Ajax locations.

Job Summary:

The Count Attendant is responsible for providing exceptional guest service while collecting cash boxes from slot machines and table games on the gaming floor. This role requires strong mathematical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collect cash boxes from slot machines and table games on the gaming floor
  • Process funds and vouchers collected in the count room in accordance with GCGC Standard Operating Procedure
  • Transfer funds from the count room to the main bank once balanced
  • Perform duties in a safe manner and report any potential safety hazards to management staff
  • Comply with GCGC Service Operating Procedures to ensure the security and integrity of the count room operation
Requirements:
  • Secondary school diploma
  • One or more years of experience in customer service and handling cash (preferably large volumes)
  • Strong mathematical aptitude and attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding area and in a confined space
  • Excellent communication, organizational, teamwork, and analytical skills
  • Ability to obtain registration as a Category 2 Gaming Assistant with the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario
Work Environment:

The Count Attendant will work in a back office environment, standing or sitting for long periods of time, and may be required to work non-traditional hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
