Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Dairy Queen St. Albert. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service department, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and high-quality food products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of food service staff, including food preparation, portioning, and presentation.
    • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.
    • Develop and implement effective work schedules to meet business needs.
  • Quality Control and Customer Service
    • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
    • Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Administrative and Record-Keeping
    • Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
    • Prepare and submit reports as required.
  • Teamwork and Communication
    • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations.
    • Communicate effectively with staff, management, and customers to achieve business objectives.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
    • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a food service supervisory role.
  • Skills and Abilities
    • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
    • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Work Environment

This is a permanent, full-time position working 40 hours per week. The work language is English.
