Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Ellerslie Chicken Foods Inc. as a Team Lead. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service department, ensuring that all food and service meet our high quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and Implement Operational Procedures

The Food Service Supervisor will be responsible for establishing and implementing operational procedures to ensure that all food and service meet our quality standards. This includes developing and maintaining schedules, inventory management, and staff training.

Supervise and Coordinate Staff

The successful candidate will supervise and coordinate the activities of our food service staff, including preparing and portioning food, maintaining a clean and safe work environment, and ensuring that all staff are trained in their job duties and company policies.

Train and Develop Staff

The Food Service Supervisor will be responsible for training and developing our food service staff, including providing on-the-job training, coaching, and mentoring to ensure that they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their job duties effectively.

Manage Inventory and Supplies

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing our inventory and supplies, including ordering and receiving inventory, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring that all supplies are stored and used in a safe and efficient manner.

Ensure Quality Control

The Food Service Supervisor will be responsible for ensuring that all food and service meet our quality standards, including conducting regular quality control checks, addressing customer complaints, and implementing corrective actions as needed.

Prepare and Submit Reports

The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and submitting regular reports to management, including sales reports, inventory reports, and other relevant data.

Requirements
  • Education

Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

Experience

1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service supervisory role

Work Environment

Fast-paced environment, work under pressure, tight deadlines, standing for extended periods, physically demanding

Work Language

English

Work Hours

32 hours per week
