Production Feed Mill Operator

At Maple Leaf Foods, we are committed to providing our customers with high-quality animal feed. As a Production Feed Mill Operator, you will play a critical role in achieving this goal by working as part of an overall team responsible for producing high-quality animal feed in a safe and efficient manner.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work with machines, equipment, and computer systems to produce animal feed
- Complete required paperwork for assigned tasks
- Follow manufacturing practices and safety policies
- Operate plant equipment to achieve daily production targets
- Troubleshoot and perform minor repairs on machines
- Communicate any changes in product flow, equipment malfunctions, shortages, or deviations from specifications to the Team Lead or Maintenance
- Collect raw material and final product samples and perform tests to ensure raw materials and final products meet specifications
- Measure and weigh ingredients
- Follow quality standards and ensure proper documentation for feed safety
About You:
- Able to lift 25 kg
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Basic computer knowledge
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Positive work ethic and attitude, attention to detail

- A competitive salary: approximately $60,000 per year, based on industry standards and the location of Winkler, MB

- Shift premiums paid for hours worked on Afternoon and Evening Shifts
