Job Description

MIGHTY ENVIRONMENTAL Containers Inc is seeking a skilled Assembly Fabrication Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for fabricating and assembling metal parts and products using various equipment such as manual or semi-automatic welding machines, flame-cutting equipment, and metal shaping and bending machines.

Responsibilities
  • Interpret welding process specifications and blueprints to ensure accurate fabrication and assembly of metal parts and products
  • Operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment, flame-cutting equipment, and metal shaping and bending machines to fabricate and assemble metal parts and products
  • Examine welds and ensure that they meet standards and/or specifications
  • Determine the weldability of materials and select appropriate welding processes
  • Start up, shut down, adjust, and monitor robotic welding production lines
  • Maintain and perform minor repairs on welding, brazing, and soldering equipment
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in fabrication and assembly of metal parts and products
  • Excellent oral communication skills and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Flexibility and ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines
  • Team player with excellent hand-eye coordination and attention to detail

Estimated Salary:

$50,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
