Culinary Operations Manager

A challenging opportunity has arisen for a skilled Culinary Operations Manager to join WHITE SPOT, where you will oversee the day-to-day kitchen operations and lead a team of cooks in preparing high-quality meals. This is a permanent position working 32-40 hours per week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Determine food portion sizes and costs, ensuring optimal profitability.
- Plan menus and estimate food requirements, considering seasonal availability and customer preferences.
- Prepare complete meals or individual dishes to the highest standards, adhering to food safety guidelines and presentation expectations.
- Train staff in food preparation and handling techniques, promoting a culture of excellence within the kitchen.
- Inspect kitchens and food service areas regularly, maintaining a clean and safe environment.
- Maintain accurate inventory records, ordering supplies and equipment as needed to support kitchen operations.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field preferred.
- 2+ years of experience in a similar role, with a proven track record of success in kitchen management.
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and train staff effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well under pressure.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and industry standards.
Compensation Package:
The successful candidate can expect a competitive salary range of $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience.
