About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Retail Store Supervisor to join our team at Petro Canada. As a key member of our store operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our sales floor and ensuring a positive customer experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of sales workers, providing guidance and support as needed.
    • Establish and maintain a positive and productive work environment.
  • Operations and Sales
    • Assign sales workers to duties and ensure that all tasks are completed efficiently.
    • Monitor and maintain inventory levels, ensuring that stock is accurately counted and stored.
    • Sell merchandise and promote products to customers.
  • Customer Service and Conflict Resolution
    • Resolve customer complaints and issues in a professional and courteous manner.
    • Provide excellent customer service, ensuring that customers have a positive experience in our store.
  • Administrative Tasks
    • Organize and maintain accurate records and reports, as required.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
    • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a retail or sales environment.
  • Skills and Abilities
    • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
    • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Work Environment

This is a permanent, full-time position working 32-35 hours per week. The work environment is fast-paced and requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Language and Culture

This role requires fluency in English and the ability to work effectively with diverse customers and colleagues.
