Job Title: Associate General Counsel, Contracts

Shared Health is seeking an experienced Associate General Counsel, Contracts to join our Commercial practice group. As a key member of our legal team, you will provide legal services in a dynamic multidisciplinary environment and be responsible for the management and conduct of a variety of corporate and commercial work.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide legal advice on a broad range of contracts and commercial transactions
  • Oversee a broad range of matters, including agreements of purchase or sale of goods or services, student placement agreements, funding agreements, research agreements, and more
  • Anticipate and identify legal issues and provide support to senior legal counsel and management to develop legal strategies and solutions
  • Provide advice with respect to privacy and access legislation applicable to the health care sector
  • Assist in the development or review of organizational policies and procedures
Requirements:
  • At least two (2) years of experience in the practice of corporate or commercial law
  • Ability to draft contracts and specifications/deliverables, legal opinions, and other commercial documents
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
