Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Corporate Counsel to join our Commercial Law team at Shared Health. As a key member of our team, you will provide expert legal advice and support to our business units, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide legal services in a dynamic multidisciplinary environment, including drafting, reviewing, and advising on a broad range of contracts and commercial transactions.
  • Oversee a variety of corporate and commercial matters, including agreements of purchase or sale, funding agreements, research agreements, and more.
  • Anticipate and identify legal issues, providing support to senior legal counsel and management to develop legal strategies and solutions.
  • Provide advice on privacy and access legislation applicable to the healthcare sector and assist in the development or review of organizational policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • At least two (2) years of experience in the practice of corporate or commercial law, with the ability to draft contracts and specifications/deliverables, legal opinions, and other commercial documents.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with senior management and other stakeholders.
