Assistant Store Manager Job Description

At Warehouse One, we're seeking an experienced retail leader to join our team as an Assistant Store Manager. As a key member of our store team, you'll play a vital role in driving sales performance, delivering outstanding customer service, and fostering a positive work environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Model outstanding customer service and coach team members to do the same
  • Take ownership of store sales performance and operations
  • Manage store operations, including assigning tasks, performing opening and closing duties, and scheduling
  • Ensure the store looks great for customers by participating in store housekeeping and visual displays
  • Lead by example, motivating and coaching team members to success
Requirements:
  • Experience in retail leadership, with a proven track record of driving sales performance and delivering excellent customer service
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and coach team members
  • Ability to stand for extended periods, climb a ladder, and move and handle boxes of merchandise (weighing up to 30 pounds)
  • Flexible availability, with a minimum of 32 hours per week, including day, evening, and weekend shifts
