Job Title: Finance Clerk

Sturgeon Public Schools is seeking a skilled Finance Clerk to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our schools' financial activities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
  • Manage school fees and deposits
  • Enter invoices and credit card expenses into our system
  • Provide financial support to school staff
  • Maintain accurate financial records
Requirements:
  • High school diploma required; post-secondary education in Accounting or related field preferred
  • One year of work experience in a related field is an asset
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong computer skills and proficiency in financial software
  • Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle
Work Schedule:

28 hours per week, split between Redwater school, Legal Public School, and Lilian Schick

Compensation:

$18.82 - $23.57 per hour, as per the CUPE Collective Agreement
