This is a full-time position, requiring 40 hours of work per week. The estimated salary range for this role is $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience. Job Description

The Administrative Support Specialist will be responsible for:

  • Greeting patients and visitors, directing them to the appropriate staff members or areas
  • Providing general information to clients and the public
  • Obtaining and processing necessary information for customer service purposes
  • Operating the switchboard or telephone system
  • Ordering office supplies
  • Recording and relaying information
  • Scheduling and confirming appointments
  • Preparing and sending invoices
  • Maintaining accurate work records and logs
  • Receiving and issuing payments
  • Performing various clerical tasks, such as filing and sorting mail
  • Answering phone calls and relaying messages
  • Coordinating teleconferences
  • Calculating billing charges
  • Monitoring mobile radio or telephone systems
  • Providing directory assistance
  • Assisting individuals with disabilities
  • Entering data into computer systems
  • Delivering exceptional customer service
  • Performing basic bookkeeping duties
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • At least 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in an administrative support role
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office software
  • Able to work independently in a fast-paced environment
