Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Method Agent to join our team at Expleo. As a key member of our production support team, you will be responsible for defining and producing work instructions for the fabrication and assembly of cabin components.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement work instructions for production processes
  • Support daily production activities, including Andon and tooling
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Production, Logistics, and Quality functions
  • Analyze potential solutions and investigate root causes
  • Ensure production change feasibility and implement changes
  • Plan and coordinate first unit in production
  • Support daily production activities and identify non-value added activities
  • Establish requirements for ergonomics, health, and safety, tools, and production equipment
  • Participate in the development and maintenance of methods and procedures
  • Contribute to continuous improvement through the client's operating system
Qualifications
  • Technical college degree and/or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a method's agent in the aerospace industry
  • Eligibility to work in Canada
  • Experience in aircraft completion is an asset
  • Strong knowledge of methods-related processes and SAP transactions
  • Understanding of ERP systems and their interrelations
  • Organized, good planner, and problem solver
  • Good judgment, innovation, and decision-making skills
  • Good interpersonal communication skills and customer orientation
  • Strong project management skills and ability to work in a multidisciplinary team
  • Able to read technical drawings and have good visualization skills in 3D
  • Functional in French and English language, spoken and written
  • Knowledge of aircraft structures, systems, or interiors is an asset
  • Knowledge of CATIA V5 is an asset
  • Configuration Management Fundamentals, EHS Fundamentals, and other relevant certifications
