Position Overview:
We are in search of a driven and results-oriented Insurance Sales Consultant to become a vital part of our organization. In this role, you will be tasked with identifying new business opportunities, nurturing client relationships, and delivering exceptional service. A strong sales background, excellent communication abilities, and a genuine desire to assist others are essential for success in this position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through various methods, including networking, referrals, and outreach.
- Conduct comprehensive needs assessments to determine clients' insurance requirements and suggest appropriate coverage options.
- Effectively present and clarify insurance policies to prospective clients, ensuring they comprehend the terms, coverage limits, and exclusions.
- Tailor insurance programs to align with clients' unique needs and financial considerations.
- Maintain detailed records of all sales activities, including lead generation, presentations, and follow-ups.
- Establish and nurture strong client relationships, providing ongoing support and addressing any questions or concerns.
- Stay informed about industry trends, product knowledge, and regulatory changes to provide informed advice to clients.
- Collaborate with colleagues to meet sales objectives and contribute to the overall growth of the agency.
Qualifications:
- Possession of a Level 1 Alberta General Insurance License.
- Prior sales experience in roles such as outside sales, inside sales representative, retail sales associate, or telemarketing is preferred.
- Demonstrated success in achieving sales targets is an advantage.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Commitment to delivering outstanding customer service.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Capability to present information to potential clients clearly.
- LLQP License is preferred or must be obtained.
