About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Travel Agent to join our team at Top Canada Tours Ltd. as a key member of our sales team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Manage difficult situations with customers, provide travel information and other details, and attend to cancellations and schedule changes.
  • Travel Sales: Sell travel products and travel insurance, use principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products or services, and make transportation and accommodation reservations using computerized reservation and ticketing system.
  • Destination Knowledge: Provide customers with travel information regarding destinations, transportation, accommodation options, and travel costs.
  • Administrative Tasks: Perform general office duties, develop contact lists, and maintain accurate records.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Will train.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Setting: Airline ticket office or travel wholesale company.
Work Environment

Our ideal candidate will be able to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, repetitive tasks, and attention to detail. They will also be able to work under pressure and maintain a high level of organization and reliability.
