Ramp Agent

Job Summary
This position is responsible for loading and unloading equipment and packages on UPS aircraft in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Learn and properly execute methods for working on the ramp and inside the warehouse.
- Unload and load UPS aircraft.
Requirements:
- Possess valid Alberta Class 5 Non GDL Driver License.
- Able to clear 5 year Extended Background Check.
- Available to work Tuesday to Friday starting at 6:50am and Saturday starting at 7:30am, up to 5 hours per day.
- Ramp or Warehouse experience preferred.
- Ability to get an airport RAIC (Existing RAIC or D/A an asset).
- Good Organizational and Multi-tasking skills.
- Able to follow set and standard procedures.
- Able to work well with others.
- Able to work under minimal supervision.
- Able to regularly lift up to 70-lbs (32-kg) unassisted.
- Able to maneuver packages up to 150-lbs (68-kg) assisted.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced physically-demanding ramp and warehouse environment.
- Comfortable working in various frequently changing weather conditions.
- Comfortable working inside confined spaces in vehicles.
- Must have reliable transportation.
The successful candidate will be required to obtain an airport pass (RAIC) upon starting the position. A D/A for operating equipment on the ramp will be required later in the employment. He/she will be working in an outdoor environment and must be able to adjust to changing weather conditions throughout the course of their shift.
