Adecco Canada, in partnership with our client's luxury events team, is seeking a full-time strategic and results-driven Business Development Director to lead their efforts in expanding market presence, driving revenue growth, and forging strong relationships with key stakeholders.

The Business Development Director will be responsible for:

  • Identifying and capitalizing on new business opportunities
  • Leading the business development team

You will play a key role in shaping our luxury events portfolio, which includes exclusive events at top-tier venues. This role requires a visionary leader with a proven track record in business development and sales, as well as strong leadership and communication skills.

Lead business development efforts, focusing on luxury events in Toronto.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute strategies to expand our market presence and drive revenue growth
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, leveraging your network to open doors and secure high-profile partnerships
  • Engage in networking events, industry committees, and cold calling to identify new business opportunities
  • Represent the company as a brand ambassador in the luxury market
  • Provide market insights to guide business strategies and identify new opportunities

Requirements:

  • 10-15 years of experience in the events industry, with a strong focus on the Toronto market
  • A significant network in high-end markets, such as luxury watches, is highly desirable
  • Ability to manage budgets, plan events, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Strong business acumen and ability to think creatively in problem-solving
