Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Healthcare Security Officer to join our team at Paladin Security. As a key member of our healthcare security team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our clients, buildings, and assets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Present a professional and visible security presence
  • Greet and assist visitors, ensuring a positive experience
  • Conduct proactive and reactive interior and exterior patrols
  • Respond to emergency situations and provide assistance as needed
  • Document and report any security incidents or events
  • Investigate routine incidents and provide recommendations for improvement
  • Enforce hospital policies and procedures
  • Monitor access control and key control systems
  • Perform monthly safety inspections
Requirements
  • Valid Ontario Security Guard License
  • Valid First Aid and CPR - Level C Certificate
  • Ability to be clean-shaven to pass an N95 Mask Fit Test
  • Proof of COVID-19 vaccination
  • Ability to clear a Vulnerable Sector Check
  • Minimum 6 months of healthcare security experience preferred
  • English proficiency (oral and written) required
  • Bilingualism (English/French) considered an asset
