CNC Machinist and Programmer

Join our team as a permanent CNC Machinist and Programmer in Burlington, Ontario. Our client is a leading manufacturer and distributor of fire and explosion protective systems.

Job Summary:

  • Set up and operate CNC lathes, mills, vertical machining center, saws and other machinery
  • Accurately read blueprints and mechanical drawings to complete customer orders
  • Check quality of materials before and after machining
  • Perform preventative maintenance and troubleshooting on machinery
  • Complete daily production logs, and safety related documentation
  • Other general duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Long-term experience in similar CNC machining or machine operating role
  • Experience maintaining and programming CNC machinery
  • Experience using various measuring tools
  • Strong computer skills and experience using Microsoft Office programs
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work well with others
  • Comfortable lifting up to 50lbs
