About the Role

The Store Manager is a key leadership position at Ardene, responsible for overseeing all store operations and driving sales and profitability. This role requires a highly motivated and experienced leader who can inspire and develop a team of sales associates to deliver exceptional customer service and achieve sales goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the District Supervisor to develop and implement strategies to achieve sales and profit budgets.
  • Train and develop store teams on company standards and programs, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge to deliver exceptional customer service.
  • Monitor performance and take action on substandard performance, working with the District Supervisor to resolve conflicts and improve team performance.
  • Recruit and retrain talent by motivating and recognizing team members, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge to succeed in their roles.
  • Conduct administrative and operational duties as required, including opening and closing procedures, health and safety standards, and employee scheduling.
  • Handle customer complaints and resolve them in a timely and professional manner.
  • Comply with all head office requests regarding store operations, including merchandising shipments and returns.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2-3 years retail management experience, preferably in a fashion retail environment.
  • High school diploma or equivalent, with experience and/or education in visual merchandising.
  • Solid business acumen, with the ability to analyze sales data and make informed decisions.
  • Proven people development skills, with the ability to assess talent and develop training programs.
  • Strong time management and priority-setting skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Ability to manage stress in a fast-paced environment, with a positive and inclusive leadership style.
