About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Civil Engineer to join our team at GHD, a global leader in engineering design and consulting. As an Intermediate Civil Engineer, you will play a key role in the development and growth of our Civil practice.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work closely with Business Leads and Managers to deliver civil design solutions for linear infrastructure projects.
  • Coordinate all aspects of civil design, including design development and implementation.
  • Develop or verify the technical scope of projects, ensuring alignment with client requirements and specifications.
  • Complete civil designs within budget and schedule constraints.
  • Participate in design coordination meetings and address critical issues.
  • Collaborate with the engineering group to facilitate decision-making related to civil design.
  • Ensure quality control processes are followed and mentor junior staff.
  • Represent GHD at client meetings as required.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized institution.
  • Minimum 5 years of extensive technical design experience, with a focus on civil design delivery for larger, multi-discipline projects.
  • Demonstrable experience in civil design delivery for linear infrastructure projects.
  • Experience working in a Design Build environment is considered an asset.
  • Detailed understanding of local Agency codes and standards is essential.
  • Experience working in an integrated 3D environment.
  • Team building and mentoring skills.
