Pizza #284 is seeking a skilled Food Service Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our kitchen. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and high-quality food.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish Methods to Meet Work Schedules: Develop and implement efficient schedules to meet the demands of our fast-paced kitchen environment.
  • Requisition Food and Kitchen Supplies: Order and manage the inventory of food and kitchen supplies to ensure that we have the necessary resources to meet customer demand.
  • Supervise and Coordinate Activities of Staff: Lead and motivate our kitchen staff to ensure that they are working efficiently and effectively to meet customer needs.
  • Train Staff in Job Duties, Sanitation, and Safety Procedures: Provide ongoing training and coaching to our staff to ensure that they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their jobs safely and effectively.
  • Estimate Ingredient and Supplies Required for Meal Preparation: Analyze customer demand and estimate the ingredients and supplies needed to meet that demand.
  • Hire Food Service Staff: Recruit and hire qualified staff to join our kitchen team.
  • Ensure that Food and Service Meet Quality Control Standards: Monitor and maintain the quality of our food and service to ensure that it meets our high standards.
  • Prepare Budget and Cost Estimates: Develop and manage budgets and cost estimates to ensure that we are operating efficiently and effectively.
  • Address Customers' Complaints or Concerns: Respond to customer complaints and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Maintain Records of Stock, Repairs, Sales, and Wastage: Maintain accurate records of our inventory, repairs, sales, and wastage to ensure that we are operating efficiently and effectively.
  • Prepare and Submit Reports: Prepare and submit regular reports to management to ensure that they are informed of our kitchen operations.
  • Prepare Food Order Summaries for Chef: Prepare summaries of food orders for our chef to ensure that they have the information needed to prepare meals.
  • Supervise and Check Delivery of Food Trolleys: Supervise and check the delivery of food trolleys to ensure that they are delivered safely and efficiently.
  • Establish Work Schedules: Develop and implement work schedules to ensure that our kitchen staff are working efficiently and effectively.
