Job Title: Food Service Team Lead
Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Team Lead to join our team at Select Sandwich Corporate Catering. As a Food Service Team Lead, you will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, as well as requisitioning food and kitchen supplies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish methods to meet work schedules
- Requisition food and kitchen supplies
- Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food
- Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures
- Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation
- Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards
- Address customers' complaints or concerns
- Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage
- Prepare and submit reports
Work Environment: Our cafeteria is a fast-paced environment with a combination of sitting, standing, walking, and standing for extended periods. You will work under pressure with tight deadlines and be physically demanding.
Requirements: To be successful in this role, you will need 1 to 2 years of experience in a similar position, excellent oral communication skills, and the ability to work in a team environment.
