Credit Reporting and Client Support Associate

At TransUnion, we are dedicated to helping organizations optimize their risk-based decisions and enabling consumers to understand and manage their personal information.

We are seeking a highly skilled Credit Reporting and Client Support Associate to join our team. As a key member of our data acquisition team, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and integrity of credit reporting data received from our data suppliers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and manage all incoming data to ensure data integrity and quality controls are met.
  • Work with customers to resolve data quality issues and ensure data suppliers are adhering to reporting and data quality standards.
  • Provide online training for customer onboarding and maintain registration information.
  • Review files from clients or from 3rd party suppliers that contains financial data and ensure service level agreements and other required time frames are met.
  • Assist internal teams with various interdepartmental projects and ensure compliance with all applicable provincial and federal laws and TransUnion regulations.

Requirements:

  • University degree or College Diploma and at least 3 years' experience in a similar role, preferably in the credit or financial services industry.
  • Proven customer management skills with a strong customer service orientation.
  • A proven understanding of the operations function, with previous experience in banking, retail credit or consumer credit reporting industries considered an asset.
  • The ability to multi-task and handle high volumes of small projects simultaneously.
  • Maintaining regulatory compliance in a complex environment with a demonstrated understanding of credit reporting laws and regulations.
