Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist

We are seeking a skilled Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist to join our expanding Psychiatry department at Kelowna General Hospital. As a key member of our team, you will provide inpatient and outpatient child and youth mental health services, working closely with a multidisciplinary team to deliver excellence in care.
The successful candidate will have expertise in Child and Youth psychiatry and be able to work effectively with adolescents, their families, and community Mental Health support services. You will be responsible for patient assessment and treatment, collaboration with clinicians and managers, and assistance with the development and maintenance of appropriate programs, policies, and procedures.

About the FacilityKelowna General Hospital (KGH) is a leading healthcare centre in British Columbia, offering a wide range of services, including inpatient and outpatient care, emergency services, and specialized programs. Our hospital is committed to providing high-quality care to our patients and their families, and we are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist to join our team.
As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including nurses, youth and family counselors, social workers, psychologists, occupational therapists, and other disciplines. You will also have access to state-of-the-art facilities and equipment, including our new Centennial Building, which features expanded emergency and ambulatory care departments, larger operating rooms, and a rooftop helipad.

What We OfferWe offer a competitive compensation package, including a salary range of $250,000 - $400,000, plus MOCAP level 2. We also offer relocation funding of up to $15,000, and a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, as well as a pension plan and paid time off.
