We are seeking an experienced Enterprise AI Technologist to join our team at Ignite Technical Resources. This 12-month contract position offers the opportunity to work with a leading Public Sector Client, with the possibility of extension.

**Job Overview**

This role requires at least two days per month on-site at our Richmond, BC head office, with preference given to local candidates.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Translate business needs into technical architectures, guiding the implementation of AI systems and cloud-based solutions.
  • Lead teams in the design, development, and deployment of innovative, AI-driven technologies.
  • Collaborate with security teams to mitigate risks and ensure ethical AI application and governance.
  • Expertise in AI technologies, including machine learning models, natural language processing, and large language models.
  • Experience with Azure AI Platform (Azure OpenAI, AI Search, Azure Cognitive Services) and AWS/Azure services (Azure DevOps, Azure App Services, SQL-Managed, EC2, CloudFormation).
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Microsoft C#, .Net, JavaScript, ASP.Net, and .NET Core.

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Knowledge of Power Apps and Microsoft Dynamics 365.
  • Expertise in both SQL and NoSQL databases (SQL Server, SQL MI, DB2, Oracle, CosmosDB/DynamoDB/MongoDB).
  • Familiarity with DevOps and Agile engineering practices.

About the Role: This is a challenging opportunity for an Enterprise AI Technologist to make a significant impact on our client's AI strategy. The successful candidate will be required to work closely with our team to design, develop, and deploy AI-driven solutions that meet the client's needs.

The estimated salary for this position is $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience.
