Job Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Sales Growth Strategist to spearhead growth in the US and Canadian markets. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for shaping and executing the sales strategy, mentoring and leading a team of six direct reports, and driving revenue growth across North America.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement sales strategies that align with business objectives and customer market growth opportunities.
- Craft and execute sales plans that capture increased market share across North America, delivering measurable revenue growth.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, expanding their use of our ingredients, packaging, or products.
- Partner with marketing, R&D, and other departments to design and execute go-to-market strategies, ensuring alignment across functions.
- Streamline sales processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
- Manage trade marketing budgets and oversee trade show planning and execution, ensuring alignment with sales goals.
- Prepare and present sales forecasts, budgets, and performance reports for senior leadership and the Chief Revenue Officer.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you must have:
- A proven track record of success in sales leadership, with experience in the food manufacturing or distribution industry.
- Expertise in B2B sales strategies, category marketing, and negotiation techniques.
- Strong relationship-building skills, with the ability to establish trust, nurture long-term connections, and influence key decisions.
- Experience leading and coaching high-performing sales teams, navigating conflict, removing barriers, and empowering individuals with knowledge and guidance.
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite and CRM systems.
- The ability to leverage data and insights to drive strategic decisions, optimize sales performance, and improve customer relationships.
What We Offer
We offer a competitive salary range of $150,000 - $200,000 per year, depending on experience, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
