Full Time Corporate Office - Richmond Hill

Position Summary:

The Human Resources Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating the recruitment and hiring functions, supporting health and safety programs, maintaining human resources databases and files, and providing administrative assistance to the HR team.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate full-cycle recruitment processes, including job postings, advertising, screening, phone interviews, scheduling, and onboarding.
  • Ensure timely completion of accident/injury reporting to WSIB and support return-to-work procedures.
  • Participate in JHSC meetings and attend workplace inspections as required.
  • Maintain and update HR files and records, adhering to relevant legislation and the Foundation's policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with Payroll on new hire administrations, terminations, and payroll records/changes.
  • Update HRIS and training systems.
  • Support HR projects and initiatives as needed.
  • Promote employee recognition and retention through staff events and recognition programs.

Requirements:

  • University degree or college diploma in Human Resources Management.
  • 1-3 years of work experience in Human Resources.
  • Good understanding of employment legislation and regulations.
  • Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office and HRIS systems.
  • Strong attention to detail, communication skills, and ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to handle HR issues with discretion and confidentiality.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills in English and Chinese an asset.
