We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Manager, Assurance to join our team in our St. Catharines office. As a key member of our Assurance team, you will be responsible for:
- Review and Compilation Engagements: Review and amend as necessary all Review and/or Compilation Engagement documents, including working papers, financial statements, and tax returns.
- Leadership and Guidance: Provide constructive criticism of working papers and offer guidance and direction to staff working on the file.
- Business Development: Engage in networking opportunities with referral sources and business development with potential and/or existing clients.
- Client Service: Attend final meetings with clients and contribute to discussions, ensuring all queries and outstanding points have been resolved satisfactorily.
The successful candidate will have:
- A graduate of a University Accounting Program or equivalent.
- Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) Designation.
- 2-5 years post-designation experience in a public accounting firm.
- Experience in an oversight role, with a thorough understanding and experience with GAAP/GAAS, ASPE, CAS, and CIS, and Canadian Taxation.
