We are seeking a motivated Sales and Business Development Representative to join our team at Scanning Pens, a global leader in portable text-to-speech technology. As a dynamic go-getter with a passion for making a difference, you will be responsible for promoting our cutting-edge Assistive Technology products to schools and districts.

This is an exciting opportunity to utilize your consultative sales skills, build relationships, and develop new business opportunities. Your exceptional communication and negotiation skills will enable you to effectively present our products and services to potential customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor CRM dashboards to track leads and opportunities
  • Prepare and deliver compelling presentations on our products and services
  • Negotiate and close deals while handling customer concerns or objections professionally
  • Represent the company at conferences and trade shows
  • Provide client training and support
  • Identify customer needs and recommend suitable products/services
  • Conduct online webinars and public presentations to promote our brand

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a Sales or Business Development role
  • Experience in K12 or Special Education is a strong asset
  • High school diploma or higher education
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and other business software
  • Confident public speaker with a proven ability to deliver online webinars
  • Availability to work 40 hours per week and travel occasionally as needed

Benefits:

  • $55,000 - $65,000 per annum (estimated salary range)
  • Full-time position, 40 hours per week
  • 10 paid sick days
  • 15 paid vacation days in year one, plus statutory holidays
