The Transportation Operations Director is a critical leadership role at YK Freightways Inc, responsible for overseeing the company's transportation operations and ensuring seamless execution of our logistics strategy.
As a seasoned professional with 3+ years of experience in transportation management, you will be tasked with allocating resources to implement organizational policies and programs, authorizing establishment of major departments and senior staff positions, coordinating regional or departmental work, establishing financial and administrative controls, and approving promotional campaigns and human resources planning.
You will also establish objectives for the organization, formulate or approve policies and programs, represent the company in negotiations or other official functions, and select middle managers and directors.
A successful candidate will possess excellent oral and written communication skills, interpersonal awareness, and teamwork abilities. They will also be able to manage their time effectively, prioritize tasks, and maintain accurate records.
The position offers a competitive salary of $110,000 - $140,000 per year, depending on experience, as well as a comprehensive benefits package including dental and healthcare plans. The ideal candidate will work 35-40 hours per week, Monday through Friday.
