**The Opportunity**

We are currently looking to hire **Portal Log Crane Operators **for our manufacturing facilities in Mitsue Industrial Park near **Slave Lake, Alberta**.

Job duties include:

- Proficiently operating a **portal log crane **in addition to occasionally operating **button top loaders and wheel loaders **in a safe and appropriate manner
- Complies with workplace safety policies, operating procedures, and regulations
- Cleans and performs routine maintenance on equipment as required

Working Conditions:

- Exposed to noise, dust, falling debris, moving machinery, weather extremes, splinters, slipping and tripping hazards
- Lifting heavy, awkward objects and climbing on equipment is frequently required
- Required use of PPE appropriate for the task and working conditions

Must have:

- A solid work ethic, be eager to learn, and be a team player
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience operating a portal log crane
- Proficient written and verbal communication skills
- Mill/ forestry experience is an asset
- **Valid class 5 driver's license required**
