Tiger is seeking a Rail Operator at our Slave Lake, Alberta, facilities to load Tiger’s fleet of rail cars with calcium and complete all paperwork required for the position.

**What you will do in this role**:

- Load all rail cars.
- Washing rail cars.
- Follow Alberta Transportation’s regulations on rail car securement.
- Maintain a clean and tidy personal work area.
- Summer and winter site maintenance (vegetation control and snow removal).
- Maintain a daily record of all work tasks and materials.
- Support and encourage continuous improvement in work practices.
- Completing daily job hazard assessments.

**What we are looking for**:

- Must be eligible to work in Canada.
- High school equivalency.
- Previous industry experience would be an asset.
- Working knowledge of the occupational hazards and safety precautions of the trade.
- Knowledge of working on top of rail cars as well as washing inside tank cars.
- Capable of preparing and maintaining accurate records and reports.
- Ability to multi-task.
- Has a collaborative communication style at all levels of the organization, demonstrating an open, honest, and consistent approach to working with others.
- Certification in the following would be considered an asset: Fall Protection, Confined Space, H2S, Rail car safety securement.
