About the Role

Vancouver Career College is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Director of Enrollment Growth to join our Academics Department. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of our institution by driving enrollment growth and promoting our diverse program offerings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead Enrollment Growth Initiatives: Develop and implement strategies to attract and enroll a diverse pool of prospective students, working closely with the Designated Admission Head and admissions team.
  • Build Relationships with Prospective Students: Conduct informational sessions on admissions requirements, academic programs, and campus resources, fostering strong relationships with prospective students and their families.
  • Plan and Execute Recruitment Events: Organize and execute recruitment events such as college fairs, open houses, and information sessions to engage potential students and promote our institution's value.
  • Review and Evaluate Applications: Assess applications, transcripts, and supporting documents to determine eligibility and make informed admission decisions.
  • Collaborate with Other Departments: Work closely with other departments to ensure a seamless transition from admission to enrollment for accepted students.
  • Achieve Sales Targets and KPIs: Utilize effective communication, follow-up, and closing strategies to achieve sales targets and key performance indicators, maintaining accurate records of applicant data and admission decisions.
Requirements
  • Minimum 2 Years of Solid Sales Performance History
  • Professional Sales Training (Bachelor's degree preferred)
  • Previous Experience in Education Sales, Private College Admissions, B2C Sales, or Telemarketing
  • Superb Verbal Communication Skills with a confident phone presence, able to make a high volume of outreach per day while maintaining a positive attitude.
  • Strong Resilience in Managing Rejections and Objections, turning them into opportunities.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Excellent Organizational Skills and Attention to Detail for tracking and following up on prospective student interactions.
  • Passionate about Higher Education with a genuine desire to help students succeed, demonstrating strong persuasive skills to convey our institution's value.
  • Familiarity with CRM Systems or Other Call Management Software is a plus.
  • Capable of Working Independently, meeting set targets and goals, and adapting to changing schedules and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
