Retail Store Manager

Kaien Island Optometry is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Retail Store Supervisor to join our team.
Job Summary:The Retail Store Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our optical retail store, ensuring excellent customer service, and managing a team of staff members.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff members, including sales workers, apprentices, and design team members.
- Assign sales workers to duties and ensure they are meeting sales targets.
- Hire, train, and develop staff members to improve their skills and performance.
- Manage inventory, including ordering merchandise and authorizing returns.
- Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters.
- Resolve customer complaints and supply shortages in a timely and professional manner.
- Organize and maintain inventory, including optical products and merchandise.
- Manage cash and ensure accurate financial transactions.
- Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback to staff members.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a retail or supervisory role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Accurate, client-focused, and team-oriented individual.
The Retail Store Supervisor will work in a fast-paced optical retail store environment, interacting with customers, staff members, and suppliers.
